JGB Yield Curve

Yield Curve History

Constant-maturity yields for 15 tenors from 1 to 40 years, exactly as published by the Ministry of Finance — no fitting, no interpolation. Drag the slider to any business day back to September 1974, or press Play to watch the curve move. A maturity that was not yet quoted on a date is simply absent.

Yields by Maturity, Daily

The 2-, 10- and 30-year yields as published, with Bank of Japan policy dates marked. The 10-year constant-maturity series begins in July 1986 and the 30-year in September 1999; short maturities have real gaps where the tenor was not quoted — gaps stay gaps.
