Revenue by Region, as Filed
The company's own regional split from the segment note of its annual securities report — on the basis the filer states, for the latest and prior fiscal year. Sub-notes such as "of which United States" are shown under their parent and never added to it.
Filed Revenue Against Customs Exports
For each customs commodity this company is mapped to, Japan's exports to the partners each filed region names — summed into the company's fiscal years — next to what the company filed for that region. The ratio is an indicator of size and direction, never an accounting identity: the company ships from overseas plants too, books revenue on acceptance rather than shipment, and shares the customs line with its competitors.
Customs Exports, Quarterly
The same customs series in the company's fiscal quarters — the frequency at which the company reports and a model is built. Customs data for a quarter is complete about two months after it ends, before the company prints its own figure. Only complete quarters are shown; a quarter with an unpublished month is left out, never summed short.
Named Customers
Every customer accounting for ten percent or more of revenue, as the filer discloses it, with the revenue booked from them. This is the only company-to-company revenue link in the public record; names are as the filer wrote them.
Reportable Segments
External revenue, segment profit and segment assets by reportable segment, as filed. A single-segment company reports none, and says so.
